DU Media DU Media showcases DU MFJS student content
DU Media journalists Haley Birt and Linneya Gardner have won a 2021 Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) award for their feature story on Denver artist Santiago Jaramillo. Gardner and Birt won the first prize in the SPJ Region 9 Television Feature Reporting category for this story, which you can watch below. The story aired on Rocky Mountain PBS in 2021.
