Humans of DU: A Sense of Belonging

Growing up, the color of my skin didn’t keep me from “fitting in” since the kids I went to school with drove busted cars and had single parents that worked 2 jobs like my mom. However at DU, I found comfort within the Multicultural Greek Council and the Student Inclusion and Belonging Suite where I am encouraged to always be unapologetically, authentically myself. I have found community and it brings me so much joy to now water the garden that has nurtured me.#HumansofDU #WhatsYourStory #DURocks #StudentLife
