DU Media journalist Natalie Schiller’s story about sexual assaults on college campuses has won a 2021 Region 9 Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) award. Schiller’s video story — which you can watch below — took first place in the SPJ’s Region 9 Television General News Reporting category. Around 12% of college students experience sexual assault on college campuses.
