About

Moving Pictures is the podcast of Project DU F.I.L.M. (film initiative linking mentors) at the University of Denver. We tell stories and have conversations about why inclusivity and diversity are important factors in filmmaking both in front of and behind the camera.

Founded by Dr. Sheila Schroeder, Project DU F.I.L.M. gives students real-life experiential filmmaking experiences, chances to network with alumni and film professionals, and opportunities to make films together. Moving Pictures will work alongside Project DU F.I.L.M. and its upcoming projects with the goal to fundamentally change the face of filmmaking by focusing on stories that put marginalized people front and center. Together, we can combat inequity in the film business.

“If you have an interest in inclusive storytelling and revolutionizing film/tv, this is the podcast for you.”

Ryan Rose, Host and Producer
