Carlos Jimenez

Carlos’ research broadly examines the role of media (mobile phones, social media, community radio, and automation) in the everyday lives of low-wage immigrant workers. In California he helped farmworkers build a community radio station from the ground up. You can tune in to Radio Indígena mixteco.org/radio. His research in Denver currently focuses on the role of media technology in the everyday lives of day laborers and among marginalized youth.

Associate Producer

Lucy Richardson

Lucy Richardson, one of the associate producers of Hear, Allá, Presente and Rocky Mountain Reverb. A fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Denver studying psychology and journalism with a concentration in cognitive neuroscience. Outside of academics, Lucy serves as a production associate for Inside Wire: Colorado Prison Radio and creator of EARWORM, a podcast dedicated to Denver’s local music.

Nicole Guzman

Nicole Guzman, one of the associate producers and editors for Rocky Mountain Reverb. A third-year undergraduate student at the University of Denver studying journalism and critical race and ethnic studies. Outside of academics, Nicole works in digital marketing and content production for Techstars.
