Alpha Delta Chi

In this episode of The DU 80208 Podcast, we find out more information about Alpha Delta Chi through potential new member mom, Mary Manship. Alpha Delta Chi is a Christian sorority on DU’s campus. They do a lot of the same things that a normal sorority does but with a shared faith aspect. They have three pillars that they like to focus on: scholastic, spiritual and social. Scholastic is surrounded around the idea of helping each other pursue their academic goals to the best of their ability. The spiritual aspect comes from all the members being of different denominations of Christianity; they have different devotionals every week at chapter and other events, such as prayer night in order to share their faith with one another. The social pillar brings about several different opportunities to hangout with each other throughout the quarter, including formal and informal events. The quarter always ends with a formal banquet to celebrate what they have accomplished that quarter. An average week includes about two to five hours of commitment.
